Please enjoy your summer and have a safe time. If interested, here is a great article about the Web 2.0 movement for students and teachers:
June 6-June 16th
To all of the graduating Seniors, I would like to wish you the best of luck in your future endeavors. It has been a pleasure to get to know you.
All other students:
Your Movie Maker/Photo Story Project will be 1/2 of your final test. The first draft is due on Monday. It must have the storyboard included. Failure to do this will result in a 30 point deduction (not a good way to start).
The final project is due Wednesday. I will not accept any late submissions.
If you need to do further photo editing you may go to these sites:
The study guides were handed out on the 5th of June. Please contact somebody in your class if you have lost it. They will not be redistributed.
Best of luck. Not too much longer before the school year is over.
Now that you have finished your menu, you are to move on to working with Windows Movie Maker software. Admittedly this is not the most advanced digital movie editor out there. Having said that, the learning curve is fairly simple and easy to pick up. If you have video footage of your own shot in mini-dv format you may bring that in to work with. If you do not, you may choose to sign out a mini-dv camera from the library. If all else fails, here are some sites from which you can import footage for use in your project:
You can also get royalty free music for your videos from this site:
***THIS IS YOUR FINAL PROJECT. YOU WILL NEED TO EXHIBIT YOUR BEST EFFORT IN ORDER TO ACHIEVE A PASSING GRADE ON THIS PROJECT. OBVIOUSLY THE MORE DEMONSTRATED EFFORT THE HIGHER THE GRADE!
*****Note: It is highly recommended that you import video in WMV format. There is no guarantee that other formats such as Mov or QT will work. Happy Hunting and only 2 weeks left!!
